{ Oh you to whom the Book has been brought! Believe in what We have sent down, confirming that which you have, before We obliterate faces and turn them inside out, or curse them like We cursed the people of the sabbath; what Allah orders will be done } Al-nisaa 47

{ Before We obliterate faces } : erasing the eyes, noses, and eyebrows on them; { and turn them inside out } : making them into single slabs like the backs of necks; { or curse them } : turning them completely into monkeys.
