{ And behold We said to the angels: Bow down to Adam. And they bowed down, except Iblis, who refused and grew arrogant, and he was among those who disbelieved } Al-baqara 34

And He created Adam from it [dust] with His hand, and he remained forty nights as a body cast aside. And Iblis came to him, struck him with his foot, and he made a clanging sound and cried out; this is the word of Allah Most High: { From clay, like a potter } [Al-Rahman 14]. He is saying: Like something separated that is not one solid mass. Then he [Iblis] entered his mouth and came out of his rear, then entered his rear and came out of his mouth, then said: You are not some clanging object, but indeed You have been created.
