Anas ibn Malik related that a certain man used to write for the Messenger of Allah (SAW), and whenever “hearing, seeing” was dictated to him, he would write down “hearing, knowing”, and whenever “hearing, knowing” was dictated to him, he would write down “hearing, seeing”. And he had recited Al-baqara and Al ‘Imran, and whoever recited both of those would have recited a large portion of the Qur’an. Then the man became a Christian and said: “Indeed I would write down whatever I wanted when I was with Muhammad.” And he died, and was buried, but the earth spit him back out; then he was buried again but the earth spit him back out again. Anas said: Abu Talha said: “And I saw him tossed out upon the surface of the earth.”
