‘Abd Al-Rahman ibn Ghanm Al-Ash’ari said: Abu ‘Amir – or Abu Malik – Al-Ash’ari said (I swear by Allah he didn’t lie to me) that he heard the Prophet (SAW) say: Indeed there will surely be people from my ummah that will consider vaginas, silk, fermented drinks, and musical instruments to be permissible; and indeed some people will go and settle by the side of a tall mountain where he [i.e. the shepherd] will meet up with them with some livestock of his; he will come to them (that is, the one in need), in need of something, but they will say: Come back to us tomorrow. And Allah will get rid of them during the night, and will cast the mountain [i.e. on top of them], and will turn the rest of them into monkeys and pigs until resurrection day.
