… but Jibril was dispatched to the Banu Qurayza in order to shake them up and cast fear into their hearts. So the Prophet (SAW) besieged them and ordered His Companions to cover themselves with their leather shields so He could make them [Banu Qurayza] hear what He had to say. And He called out to them: Oh brothers of pigs and monkeys! They said: Oh Abu Qasim, don’t be rude! Then He besieged them until they fell under the control of Sa’d ibn Mu’adh and joined with him. And he ordered that their fighters be killed and their women and children be taken captive.
