{ Whoever disbelieves on Allah after having believed – except he who is compelled, but whose heart remains assured in belief – but whoever opens up their bosom to disbelief, the wrath of Allah is upon them, and theirs is a severe punishment } Al-nahl 106

{ Except he who is compelled, but whose heart remains assured in belief } : Allah the Exalted has declared that anyone who disbelieves after having believed – the wrath of Allah is upon him, and there is severe punishment for him. However, anyone who is compelled, and speaks thus with his tongue, while his believing heart remains in opposition to it, so that in doing so he may be safe from his enemy – he is not at fault, because indeed Allah the Exalted takes his servants by what they hold in their hearts.
