From Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: The Prophet (SAW) said: I saw ‘Isa, and Musa, and Ibrahim – and ‘Isa was red, had curly hair and a wide chest, and Musa was brown, corpulent, had straight hair, like he was one of the Zutt men.

“And ‘Isa was red [ahmar]” – in complexion; among the Arabs this meant extremely white with some redness.

“Like he was one of the Zutt men” : a people-group from Sudan; and it is also said: they are a class of Indians, and have tall, lanky bodies. … “corpulent” in the sense of his being tall.
