تتفسير إبن كثير

{ To Him belongs all that is in the heavens, and all that is on the earth, and all that is between the two, and that which is under the ground } Ta-ha 6

From Abdullah ibn ‘Amr who said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: Indeed the two earths – between each earth and the next is the distance of five hundred years, and its uppermost part is on the back of a whale, whose two ends touch the heavens, and the whale is on a rock, and the rock is in the hand of the angel. And the second one is where the wind is confined; and in the third are the rocks of hell; and in the fourth is the brimstone of hell; and in the fifth are the snakes of hell, and in the sixth are the scorpions of hell; and in the seventh is the abyss, and Iblis is chained there in irons, one hand in front of him and one hand behind him, and whenever Allah wishes to release him for whatever reason, He releases him.
