Ubayy ibn Ka’b said: Oh Messenger of Allah, a number of women have not been mentioned in the Book – little ones, old ones, and those who are pregnant. And so Allah Mighty and Sublime sent down { And those of your women who despair of menstruation, if you have doubts, the time of watchfulness [‘iddah] is three months; and those who have not yet menstruated; and those with child, their term is when they bring forth their burden }
