Abu ‘Ubaid Al-Qasim ibn Salam (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It is proven and confirmed among us that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah pray over him and his household and salute him) married eighteen women, seven of them from the clans of Quraish, one from the allies of Quraish, nine from other Arab clans, and one from the children of Israel of the sons of Harun son of ‘Imran.
