عن ابي هريرة أنه كان يقول قال رسول الله ﷺ ما من مولود إلا يولد على الفِطرة فأبَواه يهووِّدانِه وينصِّرانه ويمجِّسانه كما تُنتج البهيمة بهيمةً جَمْعاء هل تُحِسُّون فيها من جدعاء ثم يقول أبو هريرة واقرؤوا إن شئتم ﴿ فطرة الله التي فطَر الناس عليها لا تبديل لخَلق الله ﴾ الآية
صحيح مسلم كتاب القدر
معناه أن كل مولود يولد متهيئاً للإسلام فمن كان أبواه أو احدهما مسلماً إستمر على الإسلام

From Abu Huraira, who said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: Every child is born into the innate disposition of man [fitrah], but then his parents make him a Jew or a Christian or a Magian, just like an animal produces another animal fully intact; do you all notice any limbs missing on them? Then Abu Huraira said: Recite if you wish: { The innate disposition of Allah upon which He has fashioned people; there is no changing the creation of Allah } and the rest of the verse [Al-rum 30]

The meaning is that every child is born set for Islam; if one or both of his parents are Muslim, he will continue in Islam.
