From Abu Huraira, who said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: Everyone that is born, is born into the religion [al-millah, i.e. Islam], but then his parents make him a Jew or a Christian or an Idolater. Someone said: Oh Messenger of Allah, what about those who perish before that? He said: Allah knows best what they would have done.
