{ Every messenger and prophet that We have sent forth before you, when they recited, Satan cast something into what they intended; but Allah abrogated what Satan cast; then Allah affirms his verses. And Allah is knowing, wise } Al-hajj 52

Sa’id ibn Jubair said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) recited surah Al-najm in Mecca, and when He got to this part { Have you all considered Al-lat, and Al-‘Uzza, and Manat, the third, the other one? } , Satan cast something onto his tongue: “Those lofty herons – indeed their intercession is hoped for”. And the people said: He has never mentioned our gods so well before today. And He bowed down, and they bowed down. So Allah Mighty and Sublime sent down this verse.
