The Sheikh Taqi Al-deen Abu Al-‘Abbas Ahmad Ibn Taymiyya (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about what the Prophet (SAW) said: “The black stone is the right hand of Allah on earth”. … Now this hadith has been narrated from the Prophet (SAW) through an unverified chain of narration, but it is generally considered to be from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: The black stone is the right hand of Allah on earth, and whoever shakes its hand or kisses it, it’s as if he is shaking Allah’s hand or kissing Allah’s right hand.
