Issue: If a woman comes to another woman there is no punishment upon the two of them.
If two women rub on each other, they are accursed, according to what is narrated from the Prophet (SAW), who said: "If a woman comes to another woman, both of them are adulteresses." But there is no punishment due them since it does not involve penetration, and is similar to intimacy in other than the vagina; however the two of them may be given a discretionary punishment [ta'zir], since it is adultery, but without obligatory legal penalty [hadd], as it resembles intimacy of a man with a woman without actual sex.
