Ibn Juraij said: ‘Ataa was asked about women with vaginal bleeding, and he said: They can pray, fast, recite the Qur’an, gather a garment between their thighs and secure it around their waist, and then walk around. Sulaiman ibn Musa asked him: It is permissible for their husbands to come upon them? He said: Yes. Sulaiman said: Is that an opinion or scholarly knowledge? He said: We heard that if they pray and fast then it is permissible for their husbands to come upon them.
