a'd ibn Hisham related that he went to see the Mother of the Believers 'Aishah, and said: Indeed I want to ask you about celibacy – what do you think of it? She said: Don't do it; did you not hear Allah Mighty and Sublime say: { And we have sent messengers before you, and we have given them wives and offspring } [Al-ra'd 38] ? So don't be celibate.
