Abu 'Ubaid said in "Fada'il Al-Qur'an" : Abu Mu'awiya related to us from Hisham ibn 'Urwa, from his father, who said: I asked 'Aishah about the grammatical mistakes in the Qur'an regarding the word of the Most High { Behold these two are sorcerers } [Ta-ha 63; hadhan la-sahiran instead of hadhain la-sahirain]; and the word of the Most High { And those who observe prayer and give zakat } [Al-nisaa 162; muqimeen instead of muqimoun]; and the word of the Most High { Indeed those who have believed, those who belong to the Jews, and the Sabeans } [Al-ma'ida 69; Sabi'oun instead of Sabi'een]. 'Aishah said: Oh nephew, this is what the scribes have done – they made mistakes in writing it down. This is a sahih chain of narration according to the stipulations of the Sahihain.
