From ‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) who said: I brought some kharira [a dish of chopped meat, liquid, and bran], that I had cooked, to the Prophet (SAW). And I said to Sawdah – the Prophet (SAW) was between us –: "Eat." But she refused. So I said: Either you eat or I’ll smear it in your face! But she refused. So I put my hand in the kharira and dabbed her face. Then the Prophet (SAW) laughed, took some in his hand for her, and said to her: Smear her face too. The Prophet (SAW) laughed in her direction. Then ‘Umar passed by and said: Oh servant of Allah, oh servant of Allah! And He thought that he was going to come in, so He said: Both of you get up and wash your faces! ‘Aishah said: And I am still uneasy with ‘Umar because of how the Messenger of Allah (SAW) was uneasy.
