Allah Most High has made it obligatory to venerate him and show loyalty to him; in the Mabsut [legal manual by Al-Sarakhsi] it is narrated from ‘Uthman ibn Kinana: Any Muslim who insults the Prophet (SAW) is either killed or crucified alive; repentance is not sought from him.
