From Ibn Juraij who said: I said to ‘Ataa: Is there a specific washing [ghusl] for a menstruating woman? He said: No, except that she should seek to be pure by pouring three scoops of water on her head, or more; indeed menstruation is more serious than sexual impurity [janabah].
