The word of the Most High: { We will get at them little by little } ; Al-Khalil ibn Ahmad said: We will bring their lives to an end with them being deluded. Abu ‘Ubaida said: “Get at little by little” means gradually progressing towards something stealthily little by little, without making an open attack on it.
