ثم ذكر حكمة أخرى وهي اتخاذه سبحانه منهم شهداء فإنه يحب الشهداء من عباده وقد أعدّ لهم أعلى المنازل وأفضلها وقد اتخذهم لنفسه فلا بد أن يُنيلهم درجة الشهداء

Then He mentions another piece of wisdom, and that is the Exalted taking martyrs from among them, for indeed He loves his servants who are martyrs, and has prepared the highest and best echelon for them, and has taken them unto Himself; He must therefore grant them the level of the martyrs.
