Whoever goes on a raid with a defector, let him kill the Disbelievers and destroy their cultivated fields, their homes, and their crops, and bring the women and children; this is indispensable. Indeed bringing them out of the darknesses of disbelief into the light of Islam is an obligation; whoever neglects this, being capable of it, disobeys Allah, and their sins are on anyone who puts them in shackles. Any act of wrongdoing is less serious than leaving them in disbelief and enabling them to remain in it.
