‘Aishah said: Oh Messenger of Allah, Shall we not go out and wage jihad with you? For indeed I see no better deed in the Qur’an then jihad. He said: No, actually the best and most beautiful jihad is pilgrimage [hajj] to the House, the hajj mabrur.
