‘Ubada ibn Al-Samit related from the Prophet (SAW), who said: Whoever loves to encounter Allah, Allah loves to encounter him; and whoever dislikes encountering Allah, Allah dislikes encountering him. ‘Aishah (or one of his other wives) said: But indeed we dislike death. He said: It’s not that; but a Believer, whenever death approaches, is given the good tidings of Allah’s favor and honor, and there is nothing he loves more than what is before him; for he loves encountering Allah and Allah loves encountering him.
