He (may His praise be exalted), by His word { You will not find people who believe in Allah and the last day to be affectionate towards anyone who opposes Allah and His Messenger } , means: You, oh Muhammad, will not find people who believe Allah and attest to the last day to be affectionate towards anyone who opposes Allah and His Messenger, antagonizes the two of Them, and is against what Allah has commanded and forbidden. … { Is it not indeed the party of Allah } ; He is saying: Are not indeed Allah’s army and His associates; { who are the prosperous ones? } ; He is saying: They are the enduring ones, the ones who have been made successful by attaining what they desired, seeking after their pledge in this life, and obeying their Lord.
