And He wrote to Kisra [Khosrow]: In the name of Allah the Merciful the Compassionate, from Muhammad the Messenger of Allah to Kisra the Great One of Persia: Peace to those who follow guidance and believe in Allah and His Messenger, and bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, none associated with Him, and that Muhammad is His Servant. I announce to you the announcement of Allah, for indeed I am the Messenger of Allah unto all people, to warn those who are alive and so that what is said against the Disbelievers may be fulfilled [Surah Ya-sin 70]: Yield into Islam and be safe! If you refuse, the sin of the Magians is upon you. And when the letter was read to him, he tore it to pieces.
