قرآن ﴿ ومالكم ألا تنفقوا في سبيل الله ولله ميراث السماوات والأرض لا يستوي منكم من أنفق من قبل الفتح وقاتل أولئك أعظم درجة من الذين أنفقوا من بعد وقاتلوا وكلاً وعد الله الحسنى والله بما تعملون خبير ﴾ الحديد ١٠

قرآن ﴿ وما لكم ألّا تُنفقوا في سبيل الله ولله ميراث السماوات والأرض ﴾ أي أنفقوا ولا تخشوا فقراً وإقلالاً فإن الذي أنفقتم في سبيله هو مالك السموات والأرض وبيده مقاليدهما وعنده خزائنهما وهو مالك العرش بما حوى وهو القائل ﴿ وما أنفقتم من شيءٍ فهو يُخلفه وهو خير الرازقين ﴾ وقال ﴿ ما عندكم ينفد وما عند الله باقٍ ﴾ فمن توكل على الله أنفق ولم يخش من ذي العرش إقلالاً وعلم أن الله سيخلفه عليه وقوله تعالى ﴿ لا يستوى منكم من أنفق من قبل الفتح وقاتل ﴾ أي لا يستوى هذا ومن لم يفعل كفعله وذلك أن قبل فتح مكة كان الحال شديداً فلم يكن يؤمن حينئذ إلا الصديقون وأما بعد الفتح فإنه ظهر الاسلام ظهوراً عظيماً ودخل الناس في دين الله أفواجاً

تفسير إبن كثير

{ And what is with you all, that you do not spend for the sake of Allah, when the inheritance of the heavens and the earth is Allah’s? Those of you who spent before the conquest, and fought, are not on the same level – they are a degree above those who spent and fought afterwards; but Allah has promised good things to both; and Allah is mindful of what you do } Al-hadid 10

{ And what is with you all, that you do not spend for the sake of Allah, when the inheritance of the heavens and the earth is Allah’s? } ; that is: Spend, and do not be afraid of poverty or scarcity; indeed whatever you spend in His cause, He is Master over the heavens and the earth, in His hands are the keys to their power, and with Him are their coffers. He reigns on the Throne and all that it encompasses, and He is the one who said: { You do not spend a thing but that He will repay it, and He is the best of bountiful providers } [Al-saba’ 39], and He said: { What is yours comes to an end, but what is Allah’s endures } [Al-nahl 96]. So then, whoever trusts in Allah spends, and does not fear scarcity from the One on the Throne, and he knows that Allah will repay it. And the word of the Most High: { Those of you who spent before the conquest, and fought, are not on the same level } : in other words, this, and those who did not do this, are not equal. This is because before the conquest of Mecca, the situation was dire, and there were no Believers at the time except the righteous. But after the conquest, Islam was powerfully manifested, and people entered into Allah’s religion in droves.
