{ The Bedouins say: “We have believed”; say: “You have not believed, but say rather: ‘We have yielded’; for indeed belief has not entered your hearts; but if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not minimize any of your works; indeed Allah is forgiving, merciful.” Truly the Believers are those who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, then have no misgivings, and wage jihad in the cause of Allah with their wealth and with themselves; these are the true ones } Al-hujarat 14-15

{ Truly the Believers } : that is, those who are sincere in their belief, as He makes it clear in the following; { are those who have believed in Allah and His Messenger then have no misgivings } : have not doubted regarding belief; { and wage jihad in the cause of Allah with their wealth and with themselves } : their jihad attests to the sincerity of their belief; { these are the true ones } : in their belief; not those who say “We have believed”, when there is nothing from them but their yielding [islam].
