صحيح مسلم كتاب الجهاد والسير

From Anas ibn Malik, who said: Someone said to the Prophet (SAW): You should go see Abdullah ibn Ubay. So He set out to see him, riding on a donkey, and the Muslims set out, and it was salty land. When the Prophet (SAW) got there, Abdullah said: Stay away from me! I swear by Allah the stench of your donkey is making me sick. And a man from the Ansar said: And I swear by Allah the Messenger of Allah’s (SAW) donkey smells better than you! Then a man from Abdullah’s people defended him. The companions of these two men each defended their man, and between them there were blows with palm branches, hands, and sandals. He [the narrator] said: We found out that this came down regarding them: { If two groups of Believers get into a fight with each other, make things right between them } [Al-hujarat 9].
