{ Indeed if the hypocrites, and those with sickness in their hearts, and those who spread lies in Medina, do not cease, surely We will incite you against them, then they will only be your neighbors there a little longer. They are cursed; wherever they can be reached, they will be taken and fiercely killed. The way of Allah for those who came before; and you will not find the way of Allah to be altered } Al-ahzab 60-62

{ Wherever they can be reached, they will be taken and fiercely slaughtered } : this is the meaning of the command to kill them and take them, that is, this is the ruling whenever they persist in hypocrisy and false rumors.
