His word: { And wage jihad for Allah as is due His jihad } : that is, with your wealth, your tongues, and yourselves, as the Most High said: { Fear Allah as is due fear of Him } [Al ‘Imran 102]. And His word: { He has selected you all } ; that is: Oh nation! [ummah], Allah has picked you, He has chosen you over the rest of the nations, and has preferred you, distinguished you, and endowed you with the most honorable Messenger and the most perfect prescribed system of laws. { And has not given you any uneasiness in religion } : that is, He has not imposed on you what you can not bear, and has not obliged you to anything that is hard on you, without Allah providing relief for you and a way out of it.
