{ And do not wish for that with which Allah has favored some of you over others; to men an allotment of what they have earned, and to women an allotment of what they have earned; ask from Allah His abundance; indeed Allah is knower of all things } Al-nisaa 32

Mujahid related that Umm Salamah said: The men go out on raids, but the women don’t go out on raids, and we only get half the inheritance! So Allah sent down: { And do not wish for that with which Allah has favored some of you over others } .
