قرآن ﴿ يسألونك عن الشهر الحرام قتال فيه قل قتال فيه كبير وصد عن سبيل الله وكفر به والمسجد الحرام وإخراج أهله منه أكبر عند الله والفتنة أكبر من القتل ﴾ البقرة ٢١٧
عن ابي إسحاق قال سألت سفيان عن قول الله ﴿ يسألونك عن الشهر الحرام قتال فيه قل قتال فيه كبير ﴾ قال هذا شيء منسوخ وقد مضى ولا بأس بال قتال في الشهر الحرام وغيره

{ They ask you about the sacred months – is there fighting during them? Say: Fighting during them is a great sin, although hindering from the cause of Allah, disbelief in Him and the Sacred Mosque, and driving its people out of it, are even greater in the sight of Allah; and sedition is worse than killing. } Al-baqara 217
From Abu Ishaq, who said: I asked Sufyan about the word of Allah: { They ask you about the sacred months – is there fighting during them? Say: Fighting during them is a great sin } . He replied: This is something that has been abrogated, and is over; there is no issue with fighting in sacred months or any other.
