{ And among the people there are those who sell themselves seeking after the good pleasures of Allah; and Allah is compassionate to the servants. Oh you who have believed! Enter completely into peace and do not follow the steps of Satan; indeed he is a clear enemy to you } Al-baqara 207-208

{ And among the people there are those who sell themselves } : they sell themselves, that is, they sacrifice themselves in jihad, or they prescribe what is right and prohibit what is wrong until they are killed … { And Allah is compassionate to the servants } : wherever He guides them towards such a transaction, charges them with jihad, and displays to them the reward of the fighters and martyrs. { Oh you who have believed! Enter completely into peace } : “peace” [silm] is surrender and obedience, and for this reason it applies to conciliation [sulh] and yielding ["islam"].
