{ Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels, and His messengers, and Jibril and Mikail; indeed Allah is an enemy of the Disbelievers } Al-baqara 98
{ An enemy of the Disbelievers } : He intends to say an enemy to them, stating it clearly so as to establish that Allah is indeed at enmity with them due to their disbelief, and that enmity towards the angels is disbelief; and if enmity towards the prophets is disbelief, how then with the angels, who are even more honorable? The meaning therefore is that whoever is at enmity with them, Allah is at enmity with him, and will punish him with the severest of punishment.
