Usama ibn Zayd said: One day the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said to His Companions: Is there anyone that sincerely strives for Jannah? Truly there is nothing more honorable and glorious than Jannah; I swear by the Lord of the Ka’ba it is a gleaming light, swaying basil, a mansion raised up, a never-ending river, abundant and fully ripened fruit, a fine and beautiful wife, abundant garments in an eternal abode, ease and riches in a radiant high and secure dwelling. They said: We strive for it, oh Messenger of Allah. He said: Say “If Allah wills” [“In shaa Allah”]. Then He mentioned jihad and urged it.
