From Abu Bakr ibn Abi Musa Al-Ash’ari, who said: I heard my father, while he was up against the enemy, say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW): “Indeed swords are the keys to Jannah”. And a certain man with a tattered look said to him: You heard this from the Messenger of Allah (SAW)? He said: Yes! So the man drew his sword, broke off its sheath, turned to face his companions, and said: I bid you all salaam. Then he went off towards the enemy and fought until he was killed.
