‘Abd Al-Khabir ibn Thabit ibn Qais ibn Shammas related from his father, from his grandfather, who said: A woman known as Umm Khallad came to the Prophet (SAW), veiled, seeking her son who had been killed. Some of the Prophet’s (SAW) Companions said to her: Have you come veiled to seek your son? She said: If I am deprived of my son I will not be deprived of my modesty. And the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: Your son has the reward of two martyrs. She said: And why is that, oh Messenger of Allah? He said: Because the People of the Book killed him.
