{ Allah was pleased with the Believers, when they pledged allegiance to you under the tree, and knew what is in their hearts, so He sent down peaceful reassurance upon them and rewarded them with an impending victory, and many spoils for them to take; and Allah is mighty, wise } Al-fath 18-19

{ So He sent down peaceful reassurance [sakinah]} : peace of mind; { upon them, and rewarded them with an impending victory } : this was the conciliation that Allah Mighty and Sublime brought about between them and their enemies, and the generally good and continuous things that resulted from this and followed one after the other, like the victory at Khaybar, the conquest of Mecca, and then the rest of the territories and surrounding areas, as well as the might, triumph, and glory they gained in this world and the next. This is why the Most High said: { And many spoils for them to take; and Allah is mighty, wise } .
