{ Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, and do not transgress; indeed Allah does not love those who transgress. And kill them wherever you get to them, and drive them away from where they drove you away } Al-baqara 190-191

It is said: This refers to all Disbelievers [Kuffar]; they have been ordered to fight them and kill them everywhere. The verse is general, encompassing all Disbelievers, among the Idolaters or otherwise.
