{ And those who left home for the cause of Allah, then were killed or died, truly Allah will bestow bountiful favor on them; and indeed Allah - He is the best of those who bestow favor } Al-hajj 58

It is narrated from certain groups of the Messenger of Allah’s (SAW) Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), who said: Oh Prophet of Allah, these who have been killed – we know the bounty that Allah has given them, but as for us, we wage jihad with you as they waged jihad; what is there for us if we die with you? And so Allah sent down these two verses [Al-hajj 58 and 59].
