{ And those who left home for the cause of Allah, then were killed or died, truly Allah will bestow bountiful favor on them; and indeed Allah - He is the best of those who bestow favor } Al-hajj 58

The Most High is informing concerning those who set out to emigrate in the cause of Allah, intent on His good pleasure and seeking after what is His, leaving behind homelands, kinsfolk, and dear friends, breaking off from their land for Allah and His Messenger and to uphold Allah’s religion, and are then killed, either in jihad or a natural death on their mats without having fought – they have gained abundant reward and excellent praise.
