‘Aishah related that a certain woman asked the Prophet (SAW) about her washing from menstruation. He ordered her on how she should wash herself; He said: Take a cloth of musk and purify yourself with it. She said: How should I purify myself? He said: Purify yourself with it. She said: How? He said: Allah be exalted! Purify yourself. And so I [‘Aishah] pulled her aside towards me and said: Work over where the mark of blood is.
