From Abu Talha Al-Ansari, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: The angels do not enter a house where there are dogs or statues. And she said: No, but I will tell you what I saw him do; I saw him go out on a raid of his, and I took a bed liner and draped it over the door. When He came back and saw the bed liner, I recognized the displeasure on his face. He yanked on it until He tore it or ripped it, and said: Allah has not ordered us to put clothes on stones and clay. She said: So we cut two cushions out of it and I stuffed them with palm fibers, and He did not hold it against me.
