قالت عائشة رضي الله عنها أتت فتاة إلى النبي ﷺ فقالت يا رسول الله إني فتاة أخطب فأكره التزويج فما حق الزوج على المرأة قال لو كان من فرقه إلى قدمه صديد فلحسته ما أدّت شكره قالت أفلا أتزوج قال بلى تزوجي فإنه خيرٌ

‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: A certain young girl came to the Prophet (SAW) and said: Oh Messenger of Allah, indeed I am a young girl, engaged to be married, but I dislike getting married; what right does a husband have over a woman? He replied: Even if there were pus from his hair part to his feet, and she licked it, she still would not fully earn his gratitude. The girl said: So I shouldn’t get married? He said: Of course, get married, for that is better.
