From Ibn Shihab, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (SAW) grew out of youth and became fully mature, but did not have much money, Khadijah bint Khuwailid enlisted his services to go to the Hubasha market [an Arab market in the region of Mecca]. And when He returned, He married Khadijah. The Messenger of Allah (SAW) remained with Khadijah until she bore him several of his children. He had Al-Qasim from her; some of the scholars allege that she bore him another boy named Al-Tahir, although others said: We are not aware that she bore him any sons except Al-Qasim. And she bore him his four daughters: Fatimah, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthum, and Zainab. And after she bore him several of his children, the Messenger of Allah (SAW) quickly began to take a liking to going out into the open.
