Ibn Ishaq said: Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr related to us that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) turned around and saw Umm Sulaim, the daughter of Milhan, and she was with her husband Abu Talha, and she had a garment of hers wrapped around her waist. And indeed she was pregnant with Abdullah ibn Abi Talha. And Abu Talha’s camel was with her, and she feared that the camel might overpower her, so she lowered its head down past herself and put her hand in its nose ring with the noseband of the bridle. And the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said to her: Umm Sulaim? She said: Yes; I’d give my father and mother for you, oh Messenger of Allah; kill those who retreat from you just like you kill those who fight against you; truly they are each other’s kin! And the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said to her: Or perhaps Allah is sufficient, oh Umm Sulaim. And she had a dagger with her, and Abu Talha said to her: What is this dagger you have, oh Umm Sulaim? She said: A dagger I grabbed so that, if any of the pagans gets close to me, I can slice them open. Abu Talha said: Oh Messenger of Allah did you hear what Umm Sulaim Al-Rumaisa said?
