Umm Sulaim related that she asked the Prophet of Allah (SAW) about women who see in their dream what a man sees; and the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: Whenever a women sees that, let her wash herself. Then Umm Sulaim said: I was embarrassed at that. And she said: Does this really happen? And the Prophet of Allah (SAW) said: Indeed, otherwise where does resemblance come from? For a man’s fluid is thick and white, and a woman’s fluid is delicate and yellow, and whichever of the two prevails or comes first, the resemblance comes from that one.
